The “Aha” Moment: Coaching for Breakthroughs in Thinking

Learn from world-renowned coach, Marcia Reynolds, author of the international bestseller, Coach the Person, Not the Problem, and creator of the popular Coaching.com Breakthrough Coaching program.
Marcia will share tips and tools and do a coaching demonstration so you can see the concepts in action. You will experience:
- How to expand your competencies and achieve more meaningful results when coaching
- Tips for both new and experienced coaches on how to shift conversations from problem-solving to coaching the mental barriers that are keeping clients from seeing their way forward
- The secret to getting clients to hear themselves, to think about what they are saying, and to effectively create the shift in awareness that resolves the issues, so they courageously commit to moving forward.
Q&A session will follow...and you will receive a handout of tools and suggested practice sessions.
The program is based on Marcia’s research and experience coaching leaders, teaching for coaching schools, and delivering programs for clients in 43 countries. She is a pioneer in the coaching profession, helping to form and become the 5th global president of the ICF and recognized in their Circle of Distinction. She is on faculty for coaching schools in the US, Russia/Armenia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and China. She teaches Leader as Coach and Creating a Coaching Culture classes to leaders in organizations around the world.

Dr. Marcia Reynolds, MCC, president of Covisioning, is fascinated by the brain, especially what triggers feelings of connection, commitment, and possibility. She draws on her research to help people have more effective and meaningful conversations. She has coached and trained leaders in 43 countries and has presented at the Harvard Kennedy School and Cornell University. She is on faculty of coaching schools in the US, China, Malaysia, Russia/Armenia and the Philippines.
Marcia is a true pioneer in the coaching profession. She was a founding member and the 5th global president of the ICF and is one of 20 people recognized in the ICF Global Circle of Distinction.
